Kechris Winery is a typical example of a modern family-run business, continuing a long tradition of wine production and trade which began about a century ago. At present, the business is headed by the oenologist Stelios Kechris, aided by his wife and daughters.
In 2009, the brand-new winery was completed in Kalohori, Thessaloniki. It has a production capacity of 530,000 bottles, and fulfils all the requirements for producing top-quality wine. The company cultivates a total of 45 hectares of vineyard with the varieties Roditis, Assyrtiko, Moschato, Sauvignon Blanc, Xinomavro, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Kechri Winery has been steadily investing knowledge and experience in the production of top-quality retsina, with a modern profile in keeping with the preferences of today’s consumer.
The winery produces a total of 9 labels, and exports wine to seven countries.
